When authors made up a child character, they tend to forget most of the time what is the way that said child is supposed to be acting according to their age group, they sometimes have five year old girls/boys behave like they are twenty, or ten year old boys and girls behave like they are three.
The worst is when they make them go from five to fourteen then back at five and then to three when the little one is supposed to really be eight, and so on. I mean, when they make the child behave the same the entire fanfic (even when the behavior has nothing to do with how a child that age is supposed to be like) I sometimes try to imagine the child haves some sort of drug problem or something that makes him/her act weird, but when they mix and match I just want to slap a bitch and remind them of not making the kids act like idiots in the fanfics XD
